Computer lab activities
Move to the computer lab (rm. 1024, 2nd floor).
Bring your student ID and, if you have them, bring along the Discovering Art CD-ROM from your textbook and headphones.
On the CD-ROM, use the following steps to complete the 18th and 19th Centuries review and self-test.
Click on the Flash Card Gallery (blue) tab.
In section 1, choose The 18th and 19th Centuries.
In section 2, choose Chronological Order (this will help you see the stylistic progression over time).
In section 3, enter 20 for Number of Questions
Click Review
For each artwork, the Show Info tab will let you review the relevant data.
After looking at the last card, click Main Menu (bottom-left)
In section 3, enter 15 for Number of Questions. Leave all other settings unchanged.
Click Self-Test
For each artwork, click on the correct answer. This will then take you to the next card.
Before leaving the computer, make sure to see the instructor to record your self-test results (note: questions graded incorrectly will be adjusted for).
Home activities
In the textbook, read about contemporary world art (Chapters 23 thru 25).
